AMI NovaSyS, a software, developed by NIK’s Information Technology Department, is a universal metering system, supporting a wide range of meters and any communication equipment.
- Automatic data retrieval via the digital interface (IEC1107 and IEC1142) from the following meters: LZQM, EMS, EPQS, GEM (Elgama-Elektronika), NIK, Alfa, Evroalfa (Elster Metronica, Russia), SL7000, ACE6000 (Schlumberger), ЕТ (Alvin), EMN, MTX, Oblik, Mercury, ZxB, ZxD (Landis&Gyr), and other meters recommended by electricity supply companies;
- Automatic backup of electricity metering data;
- Primary database recovery from backup copies;
- Data exchange with automatic systems owned by other players in the wholesale electricity market of Ukraine;
- Automatic determination of incoming, outgoing, and transmitted electricity in each metering point (groups of points) (main/backup and bypass meters) with the required integration period;
- Data verification, integrity criterion generation;
- Generation of screen report forms in automatic and manual modes and real-time update of electricity parameters based on information from a non-adjustable data set;
- Continuous accumulation and storage of online information in the database, and the creation of archives on external magnetic media;
- Automatic determination and real-time monitoring of energy and power balance (incoming electricity, net power flow, outgoing electricity, consumption) for consumers on an hourly, daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis and actual losses in all networks and certain network elements according to voltage classes (in accordance with the approved loss calculation procedure);
- Automatic testing of equipment and communication channels of the system;
- Keeping Event Logs of AMI and meters in automatic mode;
- Manual data entering;
- Flexible adjustment and configuration of AMI;
- Real-time access to any data of meters;
- Protection of information against unauthorized access, password-based access control;
- Maintenance and adjustment of the universal system time;
- Automatic or automated switching to backup communication channels in case of a failure of main channels;
- Electricity consumption analysis and planning.
